Welcome to the Cumberbatch Forum.

There are a few things you can do to make sure this forum is a comfortable environment for everybody.

• No discussion about Benedict's personal life.

Referring to facts that Benedict has talked about in interviews is fine, but no speculation or discussion of these is allowed. This extends to posting paparazzi photos that have been taken of BC in his spare time, and probably without his permission. If in doubt, please ask the moderators.

• Respect every member on the board.

Do not flame, insult, or act rudely to any member of the board. Members are all entitled to their own opinions.

• No spamming.

Please do not make posts with little relevance to the current topic or that are devoid of content.

• You cannot swear or censor bypass.

You cannot try and make out a swear word in manners such as d@mn, etc. Asterisking (*****ing) counts as censor bypassing as well.

• No advertising in posts.

If you want to post a link to a Benedict related site, please do so in the BC Links thread, found in the BC General Discussion. Links are allowed in your signature, but do not post them elsewhere, as this is considered spam and will be removed.

• Put effort into your posts.

Please try not to post things which only consist of a few words. Such messages can easily be considered spam. Make sure that you flesh out your posts with some extra info!

• No posts containing multiple or excessive/layout-stretching images.
These posts both cause trouble for people with slow Internet connections, and make the forum look messy, stretching the layout on some computers. If you want to link to a large picture, use a link, do not post the image itself.

• No linking to pornographic/adult sites.

Do not link to sites with this sort of content. All content posted on the site must be suitable for general viewing. This includes slash, which is considered an adult theme.

• No linking to or mentioning of downloads of illegal content.

This is a public forum - do not link to, or mention, illegal downloads of material.

• Signature Limits
Please do not include large images in your signature - Image signature limits are 500 px (w) x 150 px (h)

• Reporting
If you are having an issue with a member, or spot a member spamming/flaming/trolling and need it to be resolved, please click the "Report to moderator" link under the relevant post. You can also PM the relevant mod/super mod/admin. We will then take action.

If you are warned, you are allowed one more warning before the punishment results in a ban. The length of this ban depends on the seriousness of your warnings, but a permanent ban is possible in the worst cases.
